I followed the above steps but when I get back to Bios again after disabling fast boot and Secure Boot, I can’t find “Change Launch CSM to [Enable] “ All I see under boot option screen: ———————— Fast Boot [Disable] Boot Option Priorities (Nothing listed under here) Add New Boot OptionDelete Boot Option ——————————— Top of the Bios Screen shows: Aptio Setup Utility - Copyright (C) 2019.

Hi @zmanziad , What is the model number of the laptop? Does the BIOS detect the HDD (SSD?) OK? It should be shown somewhere in the BIOS menus (Main menu tab?) giving model number of HDD etc. If it is there then it hasn’t been mode ‘bootable" for whatever reason i.e. no boot files have been loaded onto the HDD or the MBR or GPT is corrupt, then it won’t be in the boot options list. If it isn’t being detected at all in BIOS then there is a problem with the HDD or its connection to the motherboard

Hi, I had the same issue and I just solved by updating the BIOS, the problem is that the Launch CSM option won’t appear until you update the BIOS. Make sure you get the rigth BIOS update for your laptop as you can damage the BIOS chip and brick the laptop. First, go to menu Advanced and then Start Easy Flash, that way you can find what kind of BIOS your laptop has.

  • Download the BIOS file and put it in the root of your USB Flash Drive. Format the FLash Drive first in FAT32 Reboot your computer with the drive plugged-in, press F2 key right after reboot enter the BIOS again, go again to menu Advanced and then Start Easy Flash. Select the flash drive on the left side of the GUI, if there is just a generic name like FS0, FS1, try each one until you see on the right side of the GUI, the same bios file you downloaded and hit enter to upgrade your bios. After upgrade, re-enter the bios, now you will see the Launch CSM option. Thanks, R.
