I recently did a phone lcd screeen replacement and after i finished i ran my test and i couldn’t hear the other party on the line… i can hear them but they can’t hear me… the only way to hear them is if you put it on speaker. Pleae help Update (01/18/2017) Also i cant take pictures with the front facing camera Update (01/21/2017) Is there a guide on how to install this??? Because i’ve tried repositioning it several times and to no avail
The Front-facing camera and earpiece speaker are on the same cable so make sure the cable is properly seated. If it still doesn’t work, try to get a new earpiece and camera assembly.
It’s possible you could have torn or damaged the front camera flex cable, assuming you did transfer and install the cable properly. If the cable is damaged you can buy a new one for about $4 http://www.ebay.com/itm/OEM-Front-Face-C…
Check no.1 the seating on the screen connections. Check no.2 Have you transferred old ear speaker from old screen? It it sitting flush with the two guides from front camera? Worth taking ear speaker out and reseating
