I can’t hear my phone calls
If you cant hear the ringer of the calls, that is there to tell you a call is coming in, this would be an issue with your loudspeaker not functioning, which can be caused by a few different things.
- your volume switch could be set to silent. The switch on the left above your volume controls, changes the volume from whatever it is set at, to silent. this happens a lot of times at my store, and switching this helps quite frequently.
- Settings. make sure your loudspeaker volume is not set to zero.
- Run a hard reset. (Hold the home and power buttons together for 15 seconds or until you see the apple logo on your screen.
- There could be a blown speaker, in which case, replacing the speaker will fix the issue.
- There could be a failure in your charge flex, which houses the speaker, in which case replacing that flex will fix your issue.
- The other possible failure is a processing failure in your mother board. replacing the motherboard is quite expensive, but the fix to this issue.

- Your earspeaker could be grimed up. in which case, i would run through a cleanout of the speaker grill. 99% isopropyl, and a thurough scrub of a clean toothbrush should clear away the earspeaker grill enough to allow sound through again. -earspeaker damage; your earspeaker could have suffered trauma from impact, water, magnetism or something else. replacing this would fix the issue. -Sensor flex; The sensor flex could be failing, which houses the earspeaker. if this is failing, replacing it will fix the issue
