Have installed two different new batteries in an Iphone XR. Plug the charger back in and it just sits in a boot loop. I see various current draw from the volt/amp meter that I have the USB plugged into so I know it’s trying something. But it’s just stuck in a boot loop. I left the new batteries to charge for multiple hours and nothing. If I plug the original battery in everything is fine. Any feedback would be great.
If it works fine with the original battery but doesn’t work with the aftermarket ones I would have to say the batteries you bought were probably not the best quality. I buy my batteries from fixez.com and I haven’t had any problems with them. They even have the original to chip from texas instruments. It’s what tells the battery health and percent of charge. It can have issues if you have a cheap battery.
Well everyone, the new battery I ordered from ifixit worked just fine. So that fixed that problem. Cheers everyone for your help.
