hey i have the same problem: the USB cable is totally okay –> my phone is charging when i plug it on my laptop. it is charging yes, but i cant find it on my laptop, ive tried searching for it on the desktop, on “computer” and on “device manager” but i couldnt find anything about my phone, i used to have itunes (i have a windows laptop) and when i plugged my phone, itunes opened directly; but i deleted it cause i thought my problem was from itunes but after deleting it i still couldnt find my iphone. PS: before downloading itunes everything was totally fine! // my phone is an iphone and my laptop is a windows 7 // thank you xx
