Chosen Solution
So, I have a friend who has an iPod Touch 4 with 23 million minute lock glitch. Im no expert but I said I would at least attempt to fix it. So first thing was that I had to shut it down, but because the screen was cracked I couldn’t slide the slider to the end, so i searched on the internet. They said hold power and home button at the same time, I tried many times but all that did was restart the iPod Touch. I dont know what to do know. Please Help, Thank You.
Just wait with the device turned on. It will eventually die and then you will have it powered off.
Since the only way I know of to fix the 23 million minute lock is to completely restore it, you could just keep holding the power/home combination as you did before. …or you could just wait for the device to die.
