I Changed Screen And Now The Bottom Part Of Screen Has Thick White Ipad Mini Wi Fi

I changed the front glass screen - the LCD was fine but when I put it back together a 1/6 of the screen at the bottom is white in one thick white line. Is it because I touched the LCD - it was smeared so I wiped with dry cloth. Probably shouldn’t have done that.

I would double check the LCD connection. Typically touching and cleaning the LCD won’t cause harm.
