Hello, i own a Samsung tv UA46D6000SW but recently i stopped working. I sent it to the nearest samsung repair shop and they told me that the pcb is dead and so the it doesn’t turn anymore. On my own i checked the screen using the Internet and made a conclusion on my own that the main board is dead as the screen turn on when you unplug it from the power supply board. My question is if it possible to interchange boards with my friend’s UA46D5000 since mine is a series different. Both looks the same but before i undertake this process I’d like to have an expert opinion. Please respond to me as soon as possible. Have a nice day.
@brayen yes it is possible that they are using the same board. If you can post some images of both boards with your question. Adding images to an existing question that way we can check the connectors etc. If you cannot at least give us tboard number which should be something like this BNXX-XXXXX and should be printed on the boards itself. Until we have those we can only guess.
