This is my first time disassemblying a device. And it happened so quick and simple but I don’t know what caused the problem. I removed the first two screws and pulled the screen off with the tool. This was just a test and I quickly reassembled all back together. Now I don’t know what’s the problem. it works when I plug in but no display on the screen. I don’t know whether the home and power buttons work or not. Before that, the screen was a little bit out of it’s socket but it gave no trouble. The screen won’t fit right completely it stucks out a really slight bit upside of the phone. I need to make it work soon, what should I do? Any help much appreciated. There isn’t much that could have gone wrong. On the 5, the cables are not on the bottom and yours all look intact. Disconnect the battery, plug the display back in, then plug the battery back in. Plug it into power and hold power and volume. You should get the Apple logo. If not, update us. As for the screen, you tuck the top part of the screen in first, then push the rest of it down. There are little tabs up there and you have to get those in first, then the rest of the display just presses down.
