I bought a iPhone 4s about a year ago, I used it for about 3 weeks then went back to my android… My android is now dead. I restored everything on my iPhone because it had a load of music and just stuff I did t want. Then when I went through the set up after restoring it the phones asks me for my old email and password. I have no idea what this is, not even from the starred email is shows me.. ( p***********s@me.com) iv been on apple support and they say sync it with the last computer it was used with and this will lift the passcode etc…. How on earth do I get around these very unnecessary apple ways!!!!
Because when u bought the phone it still must have had the last owners icloud account activated on it with find my iPhone. If you don’t get the iCloud account off that person then I’m sorry to say the phone is useless

- do you have the files backed up somewhere?
- If you have then try a Factory Reset and you will get the IPhone in a Beginning setting as if new. Any old files will not be there but you will be able to start it with your Apple Itunes account instead of someone elses.
