Chosen Solution
I would greatly appreciate it if somebody could help me !!! In order to change the volume(f10/f11/f12), brightness(f5/f6/f7), access sleep mode (f1),enable/disable WIFI (f2) I have to press the fn button first and I no longer want to do this. I have now spent far too long … 3 days to be exact trying to deal with this but I haven’t been able to find a way. I have read every piece of advice out there and tried everything but nothing seems to work. What I have done so far .. Tried to change the setting via BIOS - Impossible - Option not available. Confirmed this by contacting ASUS. Installed HOTKEYS but didn’t manage to get it to work .. read in a forum that remapping the function keys is not possible ?! If you know how to do this do please let me know ! I have now taped it down. THANK YOU !!!
Have you tried installing ATK drivers? http://support.asus.com/download.aspx?SL… Select correct OS version & platform
