My r button got jammed when i dropped my 3ds xl
Open it up with either a #00-000 size phillips screwdriver and look at the back panel to take off. The shoulder buttons are located on this piece. Try removing the ‘R’ button flex ribbon and button assembly, be careful there is a tiny spring there. Check over the button attached to the ribbon to determine if it needs to be replaced or not. They’re very cheap to replace but come from all over East Asia (China, Thailand, etc.) so it’ll take a few weeks to get the new part in. Unless you’re lucky enough to find a US seller on eBay. So if removing the button and adjusting it doesn’t fix the jammed button, it’ll need to be replaced from a seller on eBay.
