I dropped my iphone from 4th story, it shattered immediately, screen home button even battery all gone, I only have the back with the logic board attached to it, is there any way I could hook it up to a screen, back up my data, it contains text messages from my late father and I really don’t want to lose this phone, it was the last thing he gifted me.
Just buy “donor phone” which contains faulty logic board and just slap you logic board in
All the parts you listed are replaceable. If you really don’t want to run the risk of losing it, i’d take it to a repair shop. If you are comfortable doing the repair, you should be able to at the very lease restore functionality to backup your data and save your messages, provided the motherboard isn’t damaged. ifixit has all the parts and tools you should need EDIT: Also, replacing your home button will disable the touch ID function
