Chosen Solution
So I dropped my phone in a river. Took it to a repair place that dried it out, said the only problem is the daughterboard for the sound broke. I can accept calls, but I can’t hear anything in the call. ditto with music, videos etc. They offered a repair for $80, but I was hoping for a cheaper fix. Any suggestions?
If I was to attempt to do this repair myself, I’d buy a replacement back cover too as they are likely to be damaged whilst removing from the M7. Once the back is off it’s a fairly easy repair, and the daughterboard shouldn’t be too expensive
