I dropped my phone in a hot tub but I quickly took it out, it worked fine but in the morning when I turned it on the touch screen wouldn’t respond at all. Should I just get a new phone or can I just replace the battery?
unfortunately you now have a water damage device. the instance you removed it from the hot tup you need to remove your sim, battery and dry it with blow dryer or place in rice disassembling the first layer after the battery would even be better to allow the liquid to dry off quickly the screen istopped responding to your touch because the water has reach the lego point where the screen, lcd and touch panel is connected to the motherboard soon the screen will start twitching and go blank best bet now is to do what I advice in the first paragraph for any hope good luck cheers
