My mother was cooking with oil ( cold not hot ) and she dropped her Iphone 6S, she says that the mic works fine but that the speaker won’t work. When she gets a call she can’t hear the person on the other side properly. Do we need to replace the speaker? Do we need to take it to a professional? Please reply quickly, Thanks
Good Afternoon, If it is indeed just the speaker you can attempt to replace it. It is serviceable. I still however do not recommend jumping to conclusions. Take it to an iFixit Certified tech to have it looked at first. I hope this helps. -Chris W.
