i dropped my phone on its side and i looked at it later and it had a bunch of cracks and the whole right side is a dark splotch and i can still use it i just dont know what part of it was damaged. also i can still select things on the dark spot but i cant see anything.
Maybe the backlight is damaged, you need to replace a new LCD screen assembly.
You broke the AMOLED panel during the drop. You will need to replace the entire panel.
