I get error 9 and blue screen on iPhone 5S when I try to restore the phone. The phone doesnt even get from apple logo to recovery (I tried several times). I replaced the battery and the phone died... I made a video to show you whats happening https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a9Db0W7s… And yes, I know about this issue, the tracks looks untouched. https://irepairnational.files.wordpress….

You mixed the screws up on emi sheild

Were the screws mixed? Only reason for blue screen is mixed screws so there must be damage you cannot see

I’m having the same exact issue. And, I was SUPER careful about which screws I took out and where they were located. I checked again tonight and the long screw was always in the same hole it was supposed to be in. What else could this be? I disconnected and reconnected all of the plugs I took off several times.

I had the same problem in my phone. How do I fix it? Help me ..

I’m having this exact problem without the phone ever having been opened. That makes me doubt the claim that only cause could be mixed screws. My phonehasn’t ever been dropped or gotten wet either. What could be another cause of the blue screen / reboot-cycle?

Whats’s up I have a big problem with my iphone 5s, My iphone was broke with bluescreen and I fix it now is working but after 4 days that I fix it I’ve changed 3 sim cards because my iphone was killing them, now is killing the frontface camera the microfone even the charger port that I’m actually charging in one side of cable :S I don’t know what to do. I want to restore to check it would it be that problem but I’m scared that it would broke even more iphone with any error or something. Any solution please ???

The Blue Screen is just a error report. The screws are one cause but any hardware damage can cause this screen. Check your board for missing components. Battery replacement you may have pried a part loose on the board. Also I see many iPhone when dropped they can shock or break parts off the board at times.

I am having this same problem ONLY with the ifixit replacement battery. I have changed the battery back to the older one and no problem, but once i put the ifixit battery back in, every couple minutes the phone will blue screen and restart.
