When its NOT on charge, and i use my ipad, i feel like electricity is all over my hands. I get tingling on my fingers when holding it. No one else feels it but me and it lasts a while after too… What on earth is going on??
I get this sensation from everything electronic. It’s normal that replies to posts like yours will say “that is not possible,” but it is. I get it from corded and cordless mice, cell phones, iPads, all keyboards, all laptops. Charging, disconnected, grounded, not grounded. I haven’t tried grounding myself or discharging static electrcity as if starting a sensitive repair. I’ve seen posts in various online forums by other people with this odd and unpleasant problem, but never an explanation. To the best of my knowledge, it started in 2015. FWIW, I used to get a burning hot sensation inside my temple when talking on a cell phone. I don’t hold them anywhere near my head anymore.
To anyone ending up here looking for answers that explain various sensations from cell phones to magnets, you may have developed a sensitivity to allergenic metals. If you have tingling burning fingertips as I have or visible skin discoloration then you should see a doctor before applying to be an Avenger. Yeah, I’m disappointed too.
I have felt electronics my whole life. I have always had a knack for “fixing" everyones anything really. It would be broken and they would just hand it to me and more often then not It would end up just working. Lol. Recently, since right before the pandemic both my hands would go completly numb to where I couldnt move them. They would hurt bad at the same time. Anyways, now I seem to be able to sense anything electrical. You all are going to think im crazy but I also feel like I can hear from crazy distances away but in my mind I hear them. Example: ill be walking along and hear like someone saying something like hey, look at that guy! He is a @! Hahaha…….so I hear this in my ear mind and go, %#*@, lay off the weed. Then from where I “heard" this people will come walking by. It just happens too much to be a stoner thing. I swear I think I am turning into real life X-men!! Whos coming with me man! Whos coming with me! Jan!
So how do you guys use your phones. I changed my iPhone X to and a iPhone XR thinking it was my phone that was broken and giving off electric. I’ve been using a stylus for a month now and my fingertips are still black from the burns. Anyone found a solution, WiFi doesn’t seem to affect me just phone.
The voltages used in your iPad are not very high and besides its not wired in a way that can get a complete circuit. Please don’t do this! It’s an example for reference! If I only touch the live side of the power feed cord and I’m completely insulated from ground the circuit can’t complete so the power won’t flow. If holding that cord and I touch a neutral or ground wire or tie point I would get a very nasty zap! Here, the iPad is not wired to a charger or have any other means to complete the pathway. While the case is metal it only has one side of the circuit, touching any part of the case or the display won’t complete the circuit to the apposing pole of the circuit.
Me too… sometimes just standing next to an outlet on the wall or holding anything plugged in i can taste and smell electric.. (Metallic like) i wasent always this way just for the past 3 years.. Anybody else seem to have a problem with microwaves…?? Everyone i get seems to malfunction around me.. Its not that i dont know how to operate them.. But the last one would get hot on the outside and not on the inside. I dont understand it.
I have been incredibly sensitive to energy all my life, both with electronics AND even in certain parts of the world were I found most leylines converge. There are even times when I feel surging in my leg only to find there is a insulated corded cable plugged in directly under my feet, or even covered with some insulated plastic or covering. I also had experiences in college where I would touch any non-conductive object (stone, wood, etc) and get a shock from it. The doctor at the time chalked it up to change in atmosphere (which I get) but it just happened so many times in different areas that where either dry or wet. People never believe that I am hyper sensitive to this and REFUSE to us any wireless/Bluetooth devices on my body. It wasn’t until last night when I was using my Apple Pencil that I started to feel a numbing tingling sensation in my thumb. I was 90% complete with the drawing I was working on and thought I could push through it. It has since been a full day and it hasn’t subsided. On another note, I have worked on the bleeding edge of technology most of my life, and about 50-60% percent of every computer, table, laptop, electronic has had some issue brand new out of the box. My parents always questioned whether I am a highly conducive or not.
My problems have resolved 100%. I faced the same issue when I tried to use the Apple Pencil as a stylus. Fingers would tingle, then burn, then if I persist, start going numb. The burning persists for days even if I stop using the device(s). At one point I was using a Bluetooth mouse for a few weeks and tried to persist through the burns. Bad idea. Ended up losing my fingerprints after like 2 months. I stopped all contact with active styluses and stopped actively touching capacitive screens and the problem resolved fully in a few months. I have stopped touching my phone or iPad capacitive screens and even stopped holding them. I keep them propped up on my table on stands and use a passive stylus to use them.
For what it’s worth, I started experiencing a slight tingling/numb sensation in my index finger shortly after upgrading from a Samsung Note 8 to a Samsung S10e. I decided to try a Note 10 and the same sensation persisted. I went back to my Note 8 and it got better. I decided to try an experiment after having an idea. I went back to the Note 10 but turned off bluetooth. I’ve been using it for a few days and so far it seems to be not causing me any issues. More time will tell. I’m not sure if it is something they changed in the bluetooth or if my EM sensitivity just isn’t being tripped because the emissions from my phone are lower with that feature disabled and its not enough to trigger a response. Hopefully this works because as much as I love my Note 8, it is quickly becoming outdated. I’m also really liking the Note 10. Perhaps try experimenting with your electronics as well where you disable some of the EM producing features and see if that helps.
I’ve been aware for many years, of something odd & alarming when using my laptop. Both my thighs would experience an uncomfortably & sometimes painful tingling burning sensation. I have now been left with a numbness to my thighs. When I got my smart phone I started to feel the same sensations to my hand. This has got really troublesome now that I’m using a 5G smartphone. When I have it on charge & use it it worse. I have seen a documentary about such a phenomenon but can’t get any answers from GP… Trish Foster
Before dismissing such symptoms as not possible please be aware that, yes, they are: references to some medical research: Biology and Physics of mm wave and microwave radiation effects Effect of low intensity magnetic field inhuman motor behavior Effects of low frequency magnetic field on melatonin Research is ongoing we do know there are effects, both negative and positive. As far as we know right now, for example the magnetic bracelets sold do nothing. A placebo effect can account for the reported efficacy by some users. Magnetic therapy devices on the other hand are in use and have been proven effective in certain situations. For example some (not all) such devices can decrease inflammation and are useful in treating in particular arthritis. There are guidelines for what is considered ‘safe’ exposure levels but it should be realized that we don’t actually know what levels are safe at this time. Very knowledgeable people can be found to argue for and against current standards. Truth is, we aren’t sure yet, but convenience and profits do affect the standard setting… Much more research is available, look for actual research, you will find plenty.
Same thing is happening to me with my iPhone 13 Pro I actually also feel it especially in the middle of my hand in the palm and it runs down my fingertips I’m not sure but I think this is bad for our nervous system in our hands that’s just me and my opinion
I don’t know much about microwaves or leaking electricity, but I too have been sensitive to electricity most of my life. I too have tingling pain like a low voltage shock when I hold my electronic devices. Many years ago starting with ipod touch, I noticed when they are new, I put on a clear case and in a year or two, the case becomes brown and the corners turn black. Some may say that it is oxidation, but I have a high suspicion that it is being slowly cooked especially in the corners. Many phones throughout the last 8 years have done the same thing, where clear cases turn brown, and corners burnt black. I also notice that my finger tips when they are at the corners of the phone feel more burning sensations, and more recently on phones that are mag or Qi charge capable, I get the same painful feeling on the back of the phones. I really hope someone would start researching this. Also, my hands feel more rigid than before, similar to meat when it is bring cooked. I really wish technology and medical science would merge to research this kind of stuff, so many of us feeling the same thing would learn more about what these electronics are doing to our bodies before too late.
I’ve noticed some people (from what I’ve heard) seem to be a better conductor of energy? Not 100% on this.
Sorry, this is not an answer, but an explanation that I feel something similar. Since very young I have been able to feel the electricity. As a teenager I was learning to use electric typewriters (yes, I am that old), and the sensations in my arms where uncomfortable; in fact, touching the typewriter I could say if it was turned on or not. I can sense if a battery is charged or not by touching both poles with one hand. For me it is very uncomfortable to use any type of headphones. I prefer to answer the cellphone in speakers, so I don’t need to put it on my ears… the sensations in my head and my hands are borderline painful. I don’t think we feel the electricity, per se, but we feel the charge that electricity left around. As many of you, I have been looking for medical or scientific explanations about those sensations. But so far the only they talk about are electricity shocks or static shocks; which isn’t my case because it is not a shock, it is a continuing sensation as long as I hold the turned on electronic.
Hi, please have you been able to get a solution,or find the cause of the problem, cos I’m also having this issue and so confused on what to do. I’v been to the hospital and still no changes
