During my battery replacement, when I was trying to take logic board off. I accidentally hit the logic board near the battery frame with the screwdriver. A tiny piece (I don’t know what it’s called) came of from where the arrow is pointing. I can use MBP just fine. I would like to know if it going to cause a problem? And how can I fix it? Thank you.
you have broken a tiny ceramic capacitor off the logic-board if you brought that to Apple they would say “you damaged the board and you need new logic-board” trust me I should know I use to work for a reseller. But if you know someone with good soldering skills and can get access to the the logic-board service guid you could buy the right value capacitor to replace it, you might be able to save the board i wouldn’t recommend turning it on at the moment as it may work for a time but generally it will cause bigger problems. realistically you may not take this as good advice but you shouldn’t be changing parts if you don’t know what you are doing. if your attempting peal off the old battery instead of replacing the top-case and battery assembly its not surprising this has happened. I’m sorry but I doubt anyone can help with this one.
