When one stopped working I called a Sears tech to come-out and look at it. He said it needed a new main panel. The replacement oven just stopped working. When I researched online the most likely problem, every said it was a door switch. They say the lower door switch gets dirty or shorts out. I took the panel from this unit and placed it in the previous unit. I am pretty sure I wired it correctly. To test the new unit, I pressed the one-minute microwave “button” at the top of the unit. The light came on and turntable rotated, but the water inside the little cup of water I placed inside the microwave did not get hot. What did get hot was the left, inside wall of the microwave. This is where the convection heater is located. So, instead of getting microwave heat, I got convection heat. I don’t know if the convection heater fan was running or not. I did not run the oven long enough for it to heat up using convection heat. I have every piece of test equipment available. I have a Kill-A-Watt meter that measures amperage, voltage and wattage. I have most Fluke electrical DMMs. I have induction current meters and watt meters. I am an HVAC/R service tech. It would be helpful if I had a picture showing me how the main panel is supposed to be wired. It is possible that the main panel I installed is defective. This is the panel to the Microwave I have been using for the past five years. I assumed the microwave this panel was attached to failed for reasons not related to the main panel.

Hi @frankshore , Here’s a link to the service manual It should be of some help to you. ;-)
