I have lenovos145 and it’s not turning on, I closed whilst it was still on and opened it as normal, but it was a black screen I then proceeded to reboot by pressing and holding the power button. The it would turn on give a ver short bet and switch off immediately, I opened it and removed the battery and CMOS battery and connected everything back and it’s still not working I tried the NOVO button and it’s still not working please assist.
Hi @techbuddy , If it won’t start on the charger only, maybe try reseating the ram i.e. remove/replace ram modules and then check if it turns on OK. Here’s the hardware maintenance manual for the laptop. Go to p.46 to view the necessary steps to remove/replace the ram modules.
