I have a Mid 2012, MacBook Air, is it possible to switch the battery for the new 2014 MacBook Air? Also, Would the 2014 MacBook Air have the extended Battery Life of 12 Hours after I install the new 2014 MacBook Air Battery? Please guide
While the battery in the ‘14 model is slightly larger in capacity it won’t offer you more battery life in your ‘12 model. You see the logic in the ‘14 is more power efficient which is were the ‘14 shines in battery life. Sadly the ‘12 model is too power hungry which is why you won’t gain anything here. Unless your current battery is bad I would leave things alone.
