Dear Sir, I bought Nikon B500 last April 2018. I have a problem buying the AAA battery all the time. Always put new battery I just let the battery inside even when im not using the camera, But when i turn on the camera, the battery is exhausted already. I bought a Panasonic BQ-CC51 Battery rechargeable. But the battery is very quick to exausted when i turn on the camera.. What im going to do. Please help. Thank you. definitely try and buy batteries from a main retailer, nothing online you don’t know how long they’ve been sitting in the warehouse , alkaline batteries typically have a 10 year shelf life. also anything that’s a “cheap” battery from say a dollar store aren’t alkaline , they will be a cheaper chemical like zinc chloride. id also suspect that if you’re still having this issue you might have a parasitic drain on your camera in that case id replace the camera

I’d take it in for a warranty repair before your year expires or you may be stuck with this issue for the life of you camera.
