I have downloaded the fire tv app on my iPhone 6s and all functions seem to be working except the keyboard. When I open the keyboard the app says “this app is not using the standard fire tv keyboard, so some features are not available.” Any suggestions on how to get this working?
I have the same problem - I don’t know why the keyboard isn’t working in the Fire TV App but by accident I found that if I tap the center if the app screen instead of keyboard I am suddenly prompted to type (and not scroll to every letter). Anyone who knows more about the keyboard - I’d still love to use it and it would be much appreciated. Thx!!
Four actually: (1) Download GBoard app, (2) Jailbreak phone, (3) Dump the iPhone like a rude ex and buy a Samsung S8, or (4) Just use the remote that came with your Stick. I’d choose #1 but #3 is a great option!
