I Have Many Knife Sharpeners But None Of Them Give Me The Razor Sharp Kitchenware

I have many knife sharpeners, but none of them give me the RAZOR sharp edge I want/need. Any recomendations ? My electric sharper, for example sharps BUT IT ALSO GRINDS DOWN THE METAL TOO MUCH.
