On this playstation 3 the unit powers on, there are no blinking light, it will take in a disk, but there is no video or sound period. I thought you should get the playstation logo on the TV screen, but nothing appears. I’m using the standard AV cables not the HDMI. I said I would try that port. Could my problem be a bad motherboard. Marvin Arts
Try using the HDMI port, it’s most likely just a bad AV cable and/or AV port
