Hello. I wanted to take out the sim card of my galaxy S8+ I made a mistake and i put a needle in the top microphone hole. (the one next to the sim card hole) i pushed the needle very very very hard… until i see that it was a mistake. Do you think this could cause damage to the microphone? Thank you for your answer and sorry for my bad english.
I would say theres a very likely chance you damaged the microphone if not something else
I did the same the first time I got it. Mine still works. Tested it using the Voice Recorder interview option which uses both microphones. Then I spoke at the top one and then at the bottom one in roughly the same dustance and loudness.
