I bought a new battery two weeks ago and when I run coconut battery, it shows after 18 cycles, it has already gone down to 93% of the original capacity. Is this normal?
To answer your question of is it normal, no it is not. The battery is probably defective, so I would return the battery to wherever you got this battery. iFixit rigorously tests their parts and sources their parts from only reputable vendors, so if you have gotten your defective battery elsewhere besides iFixit I would give iFixit’s battery a try.
