Hello, a while ago I put some water/liquid substance on my laptop. Today, I saw the problems with my laptop. The cursor would go to the right, Chrome would zoom in, and other weird stuff would happen. I wiped the water off, but it still does this. This doesn’t happen once I turn the laptop on, but in a matter of minutes.

@robertb it looks like the appears to me that the water/liquid substance has shorted out the keyboard/trackpad. To replace it check on here MacBook Pro 13" Unibody Mid 2012 Upper Case Replacement https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EEs6Nl34

If you spilled the liquid on the trackpad then you likely only need to replace it MacBook Pro 13" Unibody (Mid 2009-Mid 2012) Trackpad following this guide: MacBook Pro 13" Unibody Mid 2012 Trackpad Replacement

Try disabling the touch screen mode and check if the cursor works fine. Then it seems to be some issue with the touchscreen sensor.
