I received a replacement battery with back cover for a 2017 MacBook 12” retina. On the battery black pads, some had a black paper covering them. They looked the same as the ones without the black paper like pads but didn’t feel the same. Are those “paper” covers to come off or is it part of the battery?
The paper on the battery just covers the adhesive areas. Similar to the peel off back of a postage stamp!
