MBP will not power up after battery replacement. Plugged in with a known good cable and charge adapter (I also tried another known good adapter and cable). The power chime does not chime when it is plugged in. I checked all connections that were removed in the battery swap and all appear to be correctly on. I even swapped the old battery back in (MBP was working on old battery before I replaced it) and still nothing. A couple of years ago the MBP had suffered a spill incident that wiped out the keyboard. I have been using it since with an old iMac bluetooth keyboard. Only reason I changed the batteries was they were swelling up.
I think it’s time to find someone with deeper Mac skills. You likely need your logic board repaired here.
