I just finished installing my Macbook pro 2014 screen and it boots to black. It looks like the display is not working at all. I’m not sure if I’m imagining it - I think I smelled something smokey when it first came on. What might have happened and where might the problem be?
Ouch! When something burns its never a good sign ;-{ Can you explain why you needed to replace the screen and what was the steps you took to find the replacement part.
