I was wondering if it’s possible to damage the cable for the screen as I saw a crack in cable right under the screen? The screen is black to though but the light can be put high
Update (12/10/2021) I just checked it was under the black thing:
There is an EDP/film cable/ that cracked because of the pressure :( No solution right?
Not only possible, but very likely unless one has the right tools and quite a bit of experience in doing it. Retina’s flat cables are very easily damaged. You have probably damaged one EDP cable and that can’t be repaired, time for a new display.
