Opened up Power Book and cleaned. Tracking pad still does not work. How much would it be to change the tracking pad. Using a wireless mouse right now. Just not the same. HELP : )
If you have to change the trackpad you probably have to change the whole upper case. That is generally priced from 200 - 300 $ depending on what kind of power book you got. If you navigate to this link: http://www.ifixit.com/Info/ID-your-Mac/7… And identify your PowerBook from the models. You will be able to browse the parts ifixit stock for your PowerBook. Then you can find the price for the trackpad or possible upper case. If you can’t find it, post your model number here.
