I have the same unit with the same problem. I contacted UE and they weren’t helpful beyond telling me that it was out of warranty. I expressed the same concern that I didn’t want to throw it in the landfill but they claim not have a repair facility. I find this odd since you can buy certificated refurbished units on amazon. In any case I plan to post it on eBay for parts.
