Hello, my Kitchen Aid side by side, built in refrigerator ice maker keeps calling for water to fill the ice maker and very random intervals and too frequently causing it to over flow. Sometimes it works properly but often will fill water and then 3 minutes later fill again, then 7 minutes later, fill again. We’ve replaced the actual ice maker unit so must be in the electronics? Has anyone seen this, random filling of the ice maker?
Hi @harisn9000 Here’s the tech sheet that may help to find what the problem is. On p.7 there is the Ice Maker and Ice Level Detector service sheet and on p.9 it details the service diagnostic tests. Hopefully a start.
