I have a Kitchenaid french door refrigerator, bottom freezer. The only way I can get the ice maker to harvest ice, is to hold my finger on the light switch (turn the light off). When I do this, it harvests the ice and refills the tray, but it won’t dump unless I hold the light switch off. Any suggestions?
If you don’t want to go to the trouble of replacing the switch, slap some duct tape on it to hold it in.
