Chosen Solution
I screwed up royally. While upgrading both storage drives, i ended up damaging the internal mic ribbon cable, didn’t notice until much later when my kids went to use it for class. I then went in to repair and cracked the glass screen. I now need to purchase both a replacement ribbon cable and new screen. Anyone have a beat on where to pick these up? I’ve seen screens sold on Ebay, looks like they’re coming straight out of Shenzen. Can I trust them? Will i hit some sort of not certified apple gear and it wont work? Thoughts? Update (12/15/2020)
