Is it still safe to use the phone, if the home button flex near the LCD flex is ripped? After I replaced my screen, I accidentally ripped the home bottom flex, LCD is fine and connected to the motherboard, atm, the ripped flex is not connected to the home button connector(J3801) on the motherboard. I left it unplugged and the phone is working fine, everything is fine but the home button. I just want to know if it’s safe to continue using the phone? Thanks!
Yeah you should be fine. Just leave the cable disconnected so it doesn’t cause any short circuits
