sorry if this is a stupid question but Iam really curious. love my Note 5 want to fix it so I can use it again. I want to change the motherboard the phone its locked to T-Mobile if I use a Verizon motherboard will that unlock the phone from T-Mobile?
Hi @ellie_wood, Not sure if applicable as things seem to be different between providers and jurisdictions but unless your motherboard is faulty and needs to be replaced, have you tried just unlocking your phone from T-Mobile? Essentially the motherboard is locked to the provider until it is unlocked if possible or replaced by another one, preferably unlocked, which is compatible with the phone
