I recently bought a replacement battery for my 9350 after I noticed the original was bulging. After installation, I noticed that after a whole day of charging, the battery still hadn’t hit full capacity. Furthermore, the laptop is unable to power on without the AC adapter, and the moment it is removed, the laptop turns off. Any suggestions on how to fix this? I’ve tried uninstalling the battery driver, doing power troubleshoot, updating BIOS, etc. I have a hunch that this is because the voltage in the replacement battery is 7.2 V while it’s 7.6 V in the original. To make sure I didn’t break anything, I reconnected the old battery and turned it on without the AC adapter and everything was working fine.

Hi @jjwang01 , You may have got a faulty battery. If Win10 is installed, try creating a Win10 battery report and check the status of the new battery. I wouldn’t have thought that 0.4V would make that kind of difference as to whether it starts or not
