Chosen Solution
Been through this once before with my horribly unreliable Retina MacBook Pro. Went to turn it on and it would not. Plugged it in, took 5 minutes to boot, no battery detected. Contacted iFixit customer support and haven’t heard back yet. Assuming they have the day off today. What do y’all think, same issue? Micro Controllers out?
Did you try a SMC reset? If you did with no change then its the controller chip again. Sounds like a bad batch issue ;-{
