Chosen Solution
Just recently replaced the battery in my iPad to one from iFixit’s shop and it is performing well. I have however noticed that cycles are not being counted anymore in the tweak I use or in Coconutbattery? The number is stuck on 1. Anyone have an explanation for this? Seems like an odd stat to leave out?
batteries have there own circuit included most likely is unless you can reprogram the new battery with the old ones serial number its just one way apple make repairs awkward
