Battery replacement not recognized by computer. Has an x through it on screen Update (11/03/2018) PPT001 battery not detected code. I replaced the I/O board, I/O cable and battery tonight i ordered from ifixit.
Did you try performing an SMC reset? Make sure the MagSafe adapter is connected and the MacBook is powered offPress and hold Shift+Control+Option on the left side of the keyboard and the Power keys at the same time and hold it for 1-2 seconds then release the keys all at the same time.Your MagSafe LED should change colors briefly.Try to power on and check that battery is recognized.
