Chosen Solution
I was thinking of buying the iFixit tray but I realised that the screw maps were outdated and was wondering if there was someone that found another 3rd party screw map
- watch ifixit or youtube teardown videos
- search the internet for images, pictures or map charts for the 6s. however, what helped me most is using an empty phone 6s base and as you remove the screws from the phone you’re working on, put them into the empty base in the same place. when you are ready, must move the screws back from into the same corresponding socket. if you plan to do this for a hobby or a business, buy one cheap on ebay, or buy a really, really messed up phone for cheap (now you have some spare parts too). if this is a one-timer, i’d draw a diagram of the phone on a sheet of paper, showing where the screw sockets are, then take some scotch tape and loop it so you can stick it to the paper and then stick the screws to the tape relative to where they go per your drawing. good luck.
Waste of time. Just get a normal magnetic project mat. And lay the screws out in the correct order as you remove them, and take photos of inside the phone as you’re working, so you have a reference to go back to.
