I have a Kenmore gas dryer 70 series when I have clothes in the dryer the flame comes on but when it goes out the igniter comes on about 5 to 6 times before flame comes back on with out close the flame goes on and off like it supposed to someone figure that one out.
You have intermittent coils, a very common problem. The coils are part number 279834 and are mounted on top of the gas valve. They are very easy to replace!
