Dear iFix it, I have an iMac 24 inch early 2008 A1225. With damaged graphics card (NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GS 512MB GDDR3). I’d like please to ask you if ATI Radeon 4670 256MB or AMD Radeon HD 6750M 512MB or any other graphics card are compatible for the Nvidia card replacement??? Thanks!
I know the Radeon HD 2600 Pro will fit in place of the NVidia card as a direct replacement. When I did it I had to reinsert the install disk to load the drivers before it would work correctly.
I replaced mine with a Radeon hd2600 pro when mine failed and it work good for the price.
