Hi Can I change out my NVIDIA GeForce 8800GS graphic card with the ATI Radeon HD 2600 Pro ? My iMac is a Model A1225 8.1 2008 Both graphic cards are listed for this model Thanks
Not sure I understand why you want to downgrade your systems graphics. You have the top of the line system in this series. Here is one source for the GPU’s that will work in your system: BookYard - NVIDIA GeForce 8800GSBookYard - ATI Radeon HD 2600 Pro If your system is working I would leave it alone and save your pennies to get a newer system (new or used). The CPU & RAM limits of this system limit you to OS-X El Capitan (10.11.x) as high as you can go. I do recommend you boost it to 6 GB of RAM.
