Greetings! I received an iMac 27” converted to a standalone monitor (all internals stripped + a controller added for the display) and it worked perfectly for about 2 weeks. It suddenly flipped the image vertically (top is now bottom). Do you know what’s going on, or if I should be worried? The details the controller shows are: RTD2785TFW: Para V001 20180420CHKSM 3EEAPNL: LM270WQ1 SDFGDP OKXXX 2016 14SIZE: 27 INCH2560X1440CHKSUM: 71HDMI OKRTK 2015 25SIZE: 27 INCH2560X1440CHKSUM: 97DVI OKXXX 2016 14SIZE: 27 INCH2560X1440CHKSUM: 94 Here is how the controller started showing the notifications right after it flipped:
I was able to go to my OS settings and flip the image 180 degrees so that I can actually see it the proper way, but the controller still shows all hardware notifications flipped.
Did you contact the controller maker? This condition is a firmware issue within it.
